So my band, THE PREFONTAINES (yes named after the runner) is playing in "The Next Big Thing," which is a big battle of the bands at the 9:30 club, the DC9, and the Rock 'N Roll Hotel on Feb.18th. At the meeting they said we are probably in the 9:30 club, though there is a chance we could be somewhere else. Basically we got invited to play a half hour set in this battle; winner gets 20 hours in a studio. We have 100 tickets to sell, which are only available through us or other bands, not at the door. The more we sell the better stage time we'll get. If anyone wants to buy one, please let me know. They are $15.00, no refunds. Please buy a ticket! We're doing some coffee shops/open mics coming up, so if you want to hear us for free before you buy one, I can tell you when those are. This link has bad quality music; I promise we sound WAY better live. http://www.myspace.com/experimentswithair

Hmmm well I'm back. No time right now for an update but I will say that I REALLY like O.A.R., at least what I've heard of them.

Heading to Arizona, while listening to tropical music, free of school and homework...does life get any better?

Okay for the people who read this lol go buy the new Copeland record. Its amazing. Not that strong of a Christian band lyrically but they are amazing. It came out today and they actually had it at Target...pretty darn cool. So yeah for 10 bucks you should give this a listen. It's very well done.

Hmm not much to write about I guess. Does anyone even read this anymore? Anyway not much has been happening. Dogs in the park was pretty fun, and after I went to the Hoffman's and watched Ice Princess with some people. Kind of weird for teenagers to do but it was fun. So yeah...anyone read this?
